A must-have for the summer season, thanks to its comfort and versatility, the Men's Bermuda Jogger takes its name and originated in the British archipelago of Bermuda in the early 1900s.
This type of shorts was invented by Mr. Nathaniel Coxon, a tea room owner in the archipelago, to address a rebellion by his employees over the excessive heat they suffered at work. From this innovation, Admiral Berridge of the British Royal Navy at the time also took inspiration, making them a part of their uniform during tropical expeditions.
Over the course of the 1950s, however, this garment remained confined to sports and casual contexts; it was only from the '60s and '70s that they began to be established for other occasions as well.
As for this type of men's shorts, in its spring-summer collection Mason’s offers 3 types of variants: the chino Bermuda, the cargo Bermuda, and the jogger Bermuda.
The Mason’s Bermuda joggers are a middle ground between simple gym shorts and classic Bermudas.
These men's sports shorts are presented in lightweight, eco-friendly, and breathable fabrics such as nylon-cotton, jersey, and tencel; fibers that ensure comfort and excellent performance.
The Bermuda jogger models presented by Mason’s for this season are: the Chile Athleisure, the Chile, Eisen, the Capri Khinos, the Taormina Summer, the Forte Cargo Summer, the Torino Jog, and the New York Golf 1 Pinces.
All the Bermuda jogger models can be paired with patterned polos or tie-dye t-shirts from Mason’s summer line to create perfect and trendy outfits for leisure time.
