They say about him

Many people have expressed opinions about this epigrammatic sculptor with unique talent. Let's see some examples.

According to Guerrera: "... he draws directly from myth, hence the archaic lines, the primordial innocence of the figures, the petrified and timeless atmosphere. Ciulla takes us into a fairy tale world where little girls still play with doves and emotions are only suggested by an open hand..."

According to Gierut: "... he is a serious sculptor attentive to the great artistic past, preferring travertine to the marble of the Apuan Alps...", while for Romano Brizzi, "travertine is his main way of working" and for Spena: "... he demonstrates rare sensitivity and skill in using a difficult material to work such as marble...".

According to Giansiracusa: "he is an artist who seeks in the archetype (the temple, the bowl, the wild animal ...) the balances of the primitive age, to graft the dream of the present" and also for Zucchini "... Ciulla's epigrammatic sculpture is dense with symbols and metaphysical suggestions."

Girolamo Ciulla and contemporary art

Contemporary art is constantly evolving and integrating various spheres of creativity, including fashion and design. In this context, Girolamo Ciulla is an example of an artist who is able to combine the aesthetics of his work with elements of current trends and innovation.

Recently, Ciulla was involved in a photo shoot in Pietrasanta, during which he wore an iconic field jacket from Mason's. This collaboration demonstrates how art can be influenced and enriched by dialogue with other forms of expression, such as fashion, which in turn can draw inspiration from art itself.

The field jacket worn by Ciulla, for example, represents the fusion of art and fashion, and demonstrates how both can influence each other to create something unique and of great aesthetic impact. The artist, with his choice of wearing such a distinctive garment, underlined the importance of the connection between different forms of creativity and their ability to enrich and complete the artistic experience.

In conclusion, Girolamo Ciulla is a highly talented sculptor who has been able to fuse his art with elements of fashion and design, demonstrating how contemporary art can evolve and grow through dialogue with other creative disciplines. His career and contribution to the world of art make him a brilliant example of an innovative and highly relevant artist in the international artistic panorama.
